My CrossFit story started like many others. In 2007, I was working full time as a firefighter for Littleton Fire Department. I wasn’t in horrible shape, but definitely was not leading the healthiest lifestyle. I spent much of my time at the globo gym going through the same mundane workouts, not seeing a lot of progress and eating a lot of fast food. Needless to say, I needed a change. I had been hearing a lot more about the new fitness phenomenon called CrossFit. Like so many, I was very skeptical that short, high intensity workouts could really produce results. Those skeptical thoughts were quickly put to rest after I did my very first CrossFit workout. I had never worked so hard in my life in such a short time. I was in LOVE. This was the start of a new beginning. It became more than just a workout for me, I became incredibly passionate about CrossFit. Shortly after starting CrossFit, I went and got my CrossFit Level One Certification. I have always loved helping people, but after 20 years working as a paramedic/firefighter, I
wanted to invest my passion elsewhere and help people in a different way. I started training friends and neighbors in my basement. The business started growing quicker than I could have ever imagined. In 2011, I made the decision to leave the fire department and focus all my energy on CrossFit. It was a huge risk, but I dove in head first and have never looked back. I can guarantee that if you try CrossFit, it will be hard, and you will be challenged on a daily basis. I can also guarantee that you won’t find another coach who is more passionate than I am. I absolutely love working with people of every age and skill level. I spend countless hours researching mobility, lifting techniques and the best ways to program for a wide variety of people. I also have extensive knowledge on diet and nutrition.
